Coach Sly
Head Coach for U11G & U13G
Coach Sly founded the Sonics in 2013 and Hall of Fame Basketball Academy in 2015, bringing youth basketball to Bradford and surrounding areas.
With a background in child and youth support, he developed character-based, integrity-focused basketball programs for all ages and skill levels.
The Academy has grown rapidly to include house leagues, rep teams, summer camps, and youth mentorship opportunities, now serving over 300 athletes across Ontario.
Coach Sly's multifaceted experience in basketball spans roles as a youth athlete, parent, coach, recruiter, trainer, official, mentor, and organizer.
He prioritizes children's enjoyment and well-rounded development while creating sustainable, affordable youth basketball programs in the Simcoe area.
Coach Dave

Head Coach for U14B Hustle Elite.
Has been with Hustle since Summer 2023, starting with a group of U12 boys, and coaching many of the same athletes into their current 2024/25 season as U14 athletes.
Dedicated 14+ years of his life to basketball as a player, playing in house league to the AAU level.
Coach Kemar
"Being fit is just as important as being skilled."
Former semi-pro basketball player from Jamaica now coaches U13B Elite.
Still active in basketball, playing in Hustle's Men's League while inspiring his son Keion's love for the sport.
Helps expand Hustle's reach by connecting the Academy with coaches in Jamaica for international youth programs.
Coach Nick

Head Coach for U14G.
Transitioned from hockey to basketball coaching in 2022 to support his daughter's team.
Led his U12 team from last place in Ontario Cup to beating all their previous challengers the next season.
Coach Jeremiah
Father-coach who leads U11B team and trains all three of his sons in basketball.
Works as a nurse managing a healthcare team that includes his wife, while offering free drop-in basketball training in Alliston.
Known for his impressive sneaker collection and ability to naturally connect with young athletes through his coaching style.
Coach Jacob
Former youth basketball player turned coach for Hustle's House League program while pursuing Sports Management at Humber College.
Known for his calm coaching style and ability to quickly learn players' names, strengths, and areas for improvement.
Demonstrates dedication to team building through both on-court coaching and off-court activities like fundraising.
Coach Kevin
"Numbers don't lie."
Multi-sport athlete and coach who brings experiences in baseball, hockey, and basketball to his U12B team.
Led his team to 2 tournament golds, a summer league silver, and a bronze in the 2023 Ontario Cup.
